There is so much to do during FMF, we want to help you get organized and make the most of it.
Download the FMF 2019 app: Get the new FMF 2019 app before you travel to FMF so you can create your personal schedule and have event times and locations at your fingertips. The app is available through the App Store and Google Play. Go to the FMF Mobile App FAQ page for more information.
Start your days with our keynote speakers:
  • Wednesday: Dr. Robert Woollard breaks down the ecology of family practice and the importance of primary care in improving planetary health
  • Thursday: Timothy Caulfield separates real science from fake news
  • Friday: Dr. Evan Adams shares his perspectives on Indigenous health and wellness and the roles family physicians play as healers and leaders
  • Saturday: Dr. Christy Sutherland and special guests address the opioid crisis in Canada
Use your badge for CPD credit reporting: Have your badge scanned at each session you attend and your credits will be uploaded to your Mainpro+® account automatically! If you miss getting your badge scanned at the session, go to the registration desk for help. Check the FMF FAQs to learn more about credit reporting.
Arrange for childcare needs: Children are welcome to join you at specific FMF events and activities with no registration required. Most of the FMF hotel partners provide nanny services; please check with your hotel in advance for details. We’ve also lined up discounts at some of the city’s major attractions for you and your guests to enjoy.
Plan to visit the Exhibit Hall: Meet College staff, bid on Silent Auction items at the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine’s booth, interact with exhibitors, and recharge in the Wellness Lounge and the Student and Resident Lounge. The Exhibit Hall is open Thursday to Saturday. Find details about the new Exhibit Hall hours and more on the FMF Exhibit Hall page.
