Kick off FMF by connecting with colleagues as the conference begins. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided.
TOGETHER 2026: Celebrating Learners, Teachers, and Researchers Dinner

Celebrate excellence in family medicine education and research at Toronto’s historic The Carlu. Enjoy a seated dinner, live entertainment, dancing, and an unforgettable evening with the FMF community.
Student and Resident Reception
Friday, November 13 | 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. | MTCC
Join us after the daily sessions for a lively reception celebrating family medicine. Enjoy cocktails, hear brief remarks from CFPC and university leadership, and connect with medical students, residents, and colleagues from across Canada.
Student and Resident Lunch
Saturday, November 14 | 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. | MTCC
Medical students and residents are invited to a networking lunch designed to help you meet peers, connect with future family medicine leaders, hear updates from your SOMS and SoR Council Chairs, and explore ways to get involved.
Lunch is generously sponsored by the Canadian Medical Association, MD Financial Management, and Scotiabank.
Get Involved: Become a Session Monitor
Want to be part of the FMF team and save on registration? Sign up to monitor sessions and help support a smooth, welcoming conference experience.
Session monitors who volunteer for one full day will be reimbursed for the assigned monitoring day plus one additional day. Volunteer for two days and attend the full four-day conference for free. Residents can also earn credits for sessions they attend, including sessions they monitor.
What Session Monitors Do
- Use a handheld scanner to scan all attendee badges as they enter the room (for credit tracking)
- Confirm the speaker has arrived and the AV is working; if not, call FMF staff for assistance
- Ensure that the session room does not overfill based on the room capacity limits
- Volunteer for a minimum of one full day, monitoring 5 or more sessions

You must pre-register at the daily or full conference rate. Your refund will be processed after FMF. The discount does not apply to workshops or special events added to your registration.
