Dr Pierre-Paul Tellier, Chair, Family Medicine Forum Committee, and Drs Andrew Arcand and Kim Bender, Ontario College of Family Physicians ASA Co-chairs, are pleased to say that FMF 2015 was a success!
There were over 4200 registrants, 281 exhibit booths, and 237 Convocation participants. The specialized networking sessions provided beneficial opportunities to connect with colleagues, and the scientific program was composed of diverse, educational, leading-edge sessions. We were proud to officially launch the Besrour Centre this year, and to launch the Prevention in Hand initiative.
Thank you to the engaging, inspiring, and thought-provoking keynote speakers, Sister Elizabeth Davis, Drs Wendy Levinson and Lynn Wilson, and Dr Jeffrey Borkan. Thank you to all who participated in and donated to the Silent Auction and Walk for the Docs in support of the Research and Education Foundation.
Congratulations to all who received Certification, Fellowship, Life Membership, and other distinguished awards, the Family Physicians of the Year, and the Top 20 Pioneers in family medicine research in Canada.
