The College is pleased to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Section of Researchers (SOR). To acknowledge this important milestone, and recognize those health professionals who have dedicated their work to family medicine research, the College is honouring the Top 20 Pioneers of Family Medicine Research in Canada for their respective contributions to advancing health care in Canada and around the world.

Worthy individual researchers, as well as the main contributors to the Thames Valley Practice Research Unit, a pioneering group in interdisciplinary research, were selected for this distinction.

These pioneers will be honoured at the SOR dinner on November 11th. Books will be available at the SOR booth at College Square, where delegates can also watch a presentation of the honorees.

Congratulations to the Top 20 Pioneers for their roles in enhancing health for all Canadians, as well as populations around the world.
