Accessible Art at FMF

Posted · 1 Comment

Initially it looks like a bunch of sticky notes posted haphazardly on a wall. But a second glance reveals it is so much more. Artist Jeff Nachtigall’s Open Studio project is a spontaneous, creative, accessible intervention. He succeeds in “weaving creativity into everyday life.” Throughout FMF, participants passing by can choose a sticky note of any colour, write or draw as desired, and post it anywhere on the makeshift wall. The project is simple yet meaningful. “We’re all born artists,” Mr Nachtigall believes. His enthusiasm for this project is contagious.

Open Studio is funded through contributions from the Michaëlle Jean Foundation and Associated Medical Services to the Research and Education Foundation of the CFPC.
