More than 100 participants braved the cold for an early morning walk or run on November 15th to support the Honours and Awards program of the Research and Education Foundation. At the finish line the participants were rewarded with a scrumptious breakfast at the Chateau Frontenac. REF Chair, Dr Ralph Masi, and Honorary Secretary Treasurer, Dr Marie-Dominique Beaulieu, drew the raffle ticket winners. Congratulations to Memorial University of Newfoundland for raising the most funds; MUN was presented with a cheque by Dr Masi. In total $28 849 was raised! Thank you to all who participated!
