Three inspiring keynote presentations at FMF 2016

Keynote Speakers FMF 2016

This year our exciting keynote speakers are an Olympic athlete and coach duo, the federal Minister of Health, and a renowned palliative care expert. All will deliver thought-provoking, timely speeches with ideas you will take back to your practices.

On Wednesday, Olympic gold medallist Mark Tewksbury and Olympic champion coach Debbie Muir present the inaugural Dr Ian McWhinney Keynote Address on “Great Traits, Winning Ways: Coaching and mentoring others for success.” (08:00­–09:15, VCC 211-214)

On Thursday, the Honourable Jane Philpott, federal Minister of Health, discusses “Health Care Priorities and the Social Justice Lens” as the recipient of the 2016 CFPC/Scotiabank Lectureship Award. (08:00–09:30, VCC Ballroom ABC)

And on Friday, Dr José Pereira, a co-founder of Pallium Canada, presents “Where Competencies, Compassion, and Humanity Meet.” (08:00–09:30, VCC Ballroom ABC)
