Dr David White was installed as the President of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) for 2016–2017 on Friday, November 11th, at Family Medicine Forum. In this interview Dr White talks about how he first became active with the CFPC as a resident and how his involvement in education has shaped his career.
Dr White also discusses what he is most looking forward to in the coming year, including the chance to meet with family physicians across Canada. He says it is also an opportunity to see how the Patient’s Medical Home model is being applied across the country and what can be learned from these different contexts.
