Day two of Family Medicine Forum offers multiple opportunities for attendees to get together and consider food for thought about career development at every stage in family medicine.
  1. Keynote presentation: Best-selling author Neil Pasricha will discuss concepts from his book The Happiness Equation, including strategies for reducing stress, being more productive, and developing stronger relationships with colleagues. (8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.; MTCC South Building, Hall F/G)
  2. College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)’s Annual Meeting of Members: Meet your 2018–2019 Board of Directors. Bring your questions and help influence the direction of the CFPC! All members are encouraged to attend. (12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.; MTCC South Building, Room 718 A; a complimentary lunch will be provided)
  3. FMF Celebration: Join us for cocktails, catch up with old friends, and meet new colleagues. (5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; MTCC, 800 Level foyer; complimentary)
  4. FMF Mentoring Meet and Greet: For this exciting new event, mentors and mentees with similar interests have been matched to discuss challenges and learning opportunities in family medicine.   5. Celebrating Family Medicine Teaching Dinner: Join us in kicking off a year of celebrations as we mark the 40th anniversary of the CFPC’s Section of Teachers. (7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; the Carlu, 444 Yonge Street; tickets must have been purchased by November 5th)
