All delegates are invited to attend the FMF Celebration on Saturday, November 11th, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the foyer of Room 517 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Enjoy coffee and desserts with colleagues and Convocation participants before the ceremony, which runs from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
At Convocation we recognize the achievements of individuals as they receive Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Fellowship, Lifetime Membership, and/or Certificates of Added Competence. We also celebrate several award recipients and proudly confer Honorary Membership in the College on two individuals who are recognized for their special contributions to family medicine.
Gowns for those participating in Convocation are lent at no charge and can be picked up between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in Room 517A. Individuals participating in Convocation must report to the marshalling room (517A) for check-in at 4:00 p.m. Please note that the marshalling room is not secured during the ceremony, so personal items should be left with a friend or family member.
Family and friends are not permitted to gather in Room 517A; instead, please take a seat in Room 517BC, which opens at 4:00 p.m.
